I was able to locate the referenced essays that were missing from the book by doing a search on the internet. Thank goodness the quizzes are not timed because the essays (once I found them) were a bit lengthy. I guess I would have an additional conversation with Ashworth staff if you were told that it was known they were missing and there would be no questions relating to them on the quiz. Hopefully you received that answer in an email to use as proof. I have found that what I have been told over the phone doesn't necessarily hold true. Good Luck!!!

New Student in the Medical Office Assisting Program
Hello everyone! Just looking to make some friends and maybe some study buddies. I am a 23 yr old mommy with a daughter that is a year old. If anyone know what Thirty-One is I am a seller of the that. I work at the Hershey Medical Center full time as a housekeeper. I was planning on going to YTI but found out they canceled some of their programs and mine was one of them. My boyfriend and I then decided online school would be much better to save on gas and babysitting since I work second shift. Hope to hear from some of you!

I think I just love it all. I own an events business and have for the past 12 years. For me being able to help a couple every step of the way from the Tux's to the DJ, Video, Photography and rentals is satisfying. I love how each wedding or event is different. Just being a part of something so special is amazing to me.

I really would love to see an art course and as impossible and silly as it sounds, I would also like something similar to chorus. Bringing French back and offering other foreign languages would be nice and I also like everyone else's ideas, especially photography, journalism, art, and psychology.

That's how I am looking at it for now. Getting the AS and then I will figure out what I want to do from there. The only part that I don't like is that because Ashworth is a national accreditation and not regional the child development classes DO NOT count towards the minimum requirements for continuing education to remain a Certified Family Childcare Provider. So on top of school I still have to do the community based training. ugh!

Hey, yeah, that's totally normal. Every course is different. I've had courses that have taken less than a month and more than a month. And I'm pretty sure it took me around a month to finish Geometry. Sometimes it's not how long it takes you to finish that important. As long as you understand what you're learning, you're doing fine : ) And if you don't we're all here to help you!

I had the same problem. Please watch what book you get. I ordered a second book with a trial cd. I am waiting on another book that is coming from Amazon. I will let you know. I went a made alot of copies so that I can at least write them out but I would like to have the cd. I do so much writing as it is and I would love to do a little less writing.

So anyone who just started or who has been through it...Medical Transcription
Hi, my name is Christina! I just started Medical Transcription and I'm already feeling overwhelmed. I'm still on Chapter 1 of the Medical Terminology book, trying to remember definitions of all the Prefixes, Suffixes and Combining Forms!! How long did this 1st chapter take for others out there? I'm really trying, but there are so many!!! I was never good at studying, but now that it's all on me, it feels like I'm not getting anywhere.
Any help or suggestions are appreciated.
